What customers say?

“ Pasties are unbeatable…they also sell them frozen to do at home! ”

“ Welcome to the best fish and chip shop in belfast. I do not own nor I related to the owners. I literally e approx 4miles from this shop and need to pass at least four other chip shops to get to it but would go nowhere else. Portion size is brilliant quality and taste of fish superb and staff cook everything as you request it lightly cooked, well done etc. Fish battered sausage and onion rings are a must try and first class for flavour and you can ring your order in and collect it a great little jewel on the shankill which stands apart from all the rest. Trust me. ”

“ Beautiful pasties and the only place I know to do a "Cheese and Onion Steakette" Recommended ”

- Ryan Doyle -

“ Fish and chips were first class. Served with a generous dip of choice with a large diet coke for under £10. I asked for mushy peas and the helping was generous for I think around £1.30. I ate all at bench seating which was good and clean with well stocked condiments. This place is a well run old school chippy and all the better for it. Five star! ”

“ Use this chip shop for so long I forget....up until a few months ago the staff were youngish but they knew how to cook the food even if it was a bit over the food was delicious but I have not seen any young girl last couple off months, but mature ladies are now on and I've got pasties last two times and had to bring them home and reheat them, honestly, they were well done on the outside but so badly lukewarm on the inside so I assume it's a case off employ anyone as long as they know how to turn on/off and over....prob won't be back but you will give someone who's at the football a bad case off poisioning....that I'd put money on.....bring the young ones back ”

“ Traditional Fish and Chip shop, with lot of other savoury treats on the menu. I dined in and had a delicous fish and chip. Generous portions. Very helpful and friendly staff. Just magic. ”

- Alexander McCausland -

“ Busy as with NI match on. Quick as could be and tasty. Tad on the expensive side relative to portion size but overall good ”

- Adam McCalden -

“ Great traditional fish'n'chip shop with a decent menu at a reasonable price. Staff are always very friendly and service is extremely prompt. The menu is a bit limited compared to some chippies, but the food is top notch. It also has a spacious sit-in area that's spotlessly clean every time I visit. ”
